Save your money and avoid this place. The food as tasteless and the menu was unimpressive. The presentation was uninspired. There was nothing unique to justify the prices charged.

I have been eating at Bistro Wasabi since it opened, and to be fair, the wait times have improved. The food is wonderful, especially the beef and asparagus roll appetizer. The sushi is also great; my favorites are salmon and tuna. The decor is very modern, and a little pretentious. I guess that's part of the package. When they first opened, they were really snotty for a far far suburban place, but that has really improved with the addition of a new bartender. I recommend carry out on the weekends, as the restaurant is small. But it is really a fun place to eat.

This is my favorite place to eat at. Food Great, Drinks Great, Service great. Never had to Wait very long to get our food. In and out within a hour. Last time I was there we had a group of 12 during a holiday weekend. Did not wait long at all.

People need to know that the pretentious and over priced sushi restaurant known as Bistro Wasabi has the rudest staff and the most horrible service I have ever had, EVER. We ordered 2 basic rolls and an appetizer (which were average) and it took close to an hour to get served - The place was 1/2 empty AND WE WERE SITTING AT THE SUSHI BAR! We had to ask the hostess to find our waitress in order to order more drinks. We were totally ignored and were not made to feel welcome. This place SUCKS and I would never recommend it. If you want AWESOME sushi and really great service at comparable prices go to Kaminari Sushi up Algonquin road. They will actually smile, make you feel welcome and they make really delicious and creative sushi.

My husband and I have eaten here many times and always leave loving everything about it. The bar, sushi bar and restaurant are great. Best of all the food is out of this world. My favorite is the shrimp and scallops but I also love the sushi, their presentation is spectacular. We have also taken our 3 kids there, my 10 year old loves sushi! I have many friends that have been here as well and have said it is one of their favorite places to go.
